When I was little, and lived with my grandmother when my dad was in Korea, I used to ride my bike in the lovely cemetery, in Warren PA. I loved to look at the markers and wonder about those lives.. I enjoyed your blog entry! The angel does look like it has a tear..Blessings to you and your family!

My husband discovered this cemetery near our hotel in Springfield, MA. He was fascinated by the dates on the tombstones.
It does look tearful. Simple designs often have the biggest impact. I have not seen a church yard angel quite like that one before.

ReplyDeleteLovely simple faces. I think the tear may be the result of weathering, but oh so perfectly placed. In that sense, it means even more.
