perspectives
For many of my neighbors summer officially commences this week with the conclusion of the school year.
This seemed like a "summery" little wip to complete. Most of the quilting was already done and all I added were the beads, the binding, and some additional quilting.
Despite a ferocious thunderstorm and rain during the night, it's nice to still find these in the yard.

If you look closely, you can still see the raindrops.

time piece
This little quilt is finished and ready to be donated. Components and embellishments include scraps from old prom dresses, bits of lace, buttons, beads, crystals, yarn from Mrs Moen, scrapbooking supplies, a paper bead, and blueberry and coffee stained cheesecloth.
It's titled "Time Piece" because it includes a clock face under the lace and the word "time."
"There is no present or future, only the past, happening over and over again, now." ~ Eugene O'Neill, A Moon for the Misbegotten
"We live in deeds, not years; in thoughts, not breaths; in feelings, not figures on a dial." ~ Philip James Bailey, Festus
