I've practiced stitching in red on a couple of hearts.
Experimented with more paper-stitching, and have started making them full, dimensional, slightly stuffed hearts using vintage bits of fabric and buttons.

That last one hit me right in the heart. It's almost see through and yet solid.
ReplyDeleteI finished "Fragile Heart" and "Heart as white as snow" yesterday, and today I'm working on "Mending a broken Heart". Strange.
I love making hearts-paper, fabric, whatever. I love them. That is a great quote. I'll have to add that one to my book of qotes.
ReplyDeleteI love the woven text and stitching text-- I myself would rather 'glue' it on so I always admire those that take the time to stitch and sew and quilt
