revisiting circles

"And the seasons they go round and round
And the painted ponies go up and down
We're captive on a carousel of time
We can't return we can only look behind
From where we came
And go round and round and round
In the circle game."
(Song "The Circle Game" by Joni Mitchell)
This wip was started a few months ago and I finished adding a few more embellishments and quilting it during a long car ride to and from Northampton over the weekend.

  7. Very pretty - and I loved the song lyrics, especially about not being able to go back and only looking behind.

I for one would like to get off the carousel once in a while; just a little break on solid ground...

  10. I mean, while riding in a car - not driving. LOL! Reminds me of that joke: An officer notices a woman knitting behind the wheel. He yells, "Pull over!" and she yells back, "No. Socks."
