vintage sparks

Mostly vintage, I think I originally copied this pattern from a magazine I checked out of the library, long before I ever worked there. I returned the magazine before I quilted this small top so now I have no memory of my original intention. But that might be fun! I'll make something up, reckless embellishment maybe?

two of twenty

Finally I have identified the source of the pattern I used for a quilt I had posted earlier. Both of these were from Gwen Marston's Twenty Little Triangle Quilts. The original one posted is"String of Triangles" and the red, blue and yellow one is "Triangle Block with Triangle Border" (except that I didn't make a triangle border).

early triangles

A small quilt reflecting an early experiment with triangles. Not what I had intended to post this morning but my window of opportunity to photograph my intended post collided with the need for my camera battery to be recharged.

wip: pinwheels

This is another small piece I started years ago. I think I was trying to make some kind of pinwheel design, working with tiny triangles.

sleeves and corners

Busy making sleeves for an upcoming art show. I've been going through quilts I made some time ago and am noticing that I used to be able to make better mitred corners than I am making now. Have I forgotten how? What happened? Now I'm trying to think of ways to avoid binding/mitred corners all together.
