celebration

Paint, beads and a strip of ruched fabric are used to embellish this small piece that started out as a fiber postcard.

As you can see from the back, it is fairly heavily quilted.
Snowballs in the backyard would be reason enough for celebration.

erosion bundle results 2011

These are the results I had hoped for . . .  but did NOT achieve. This remnant from my erosion bundle has been stamped with strawberry halves, creating images that almost look like hearts.

My erosion bundle has been unwrapped, photographed and mostly neglected for the past month. Despite my addition of berries that I was sure would create a red stain, I achieved no rosy results on the fabric.

There was, however, plenty of mottling.
