I don't know what came over me. I noticed this dollin what appeared to be a bag of folk art, mostly cloth, dolls.
I'm not a doll collector although sometimes I am drawn to cloth or folk art dolls. I bought them without examining all of the contents. It turns out there are 23 of them and my favorite, at the moment, is the one at the top which is one of the ones I found at the bottom of the bag.Now the question is, what am I going to do with them?

OH my! What a great find. Just think of all the hands that fashioned these beauties! I am sure the reason for you having these will reveal itself sooner or later. In the mean time, I say display and enjoy them!
I'd love to see the rest of them.
Fabulous find, who know when your intuition takes over and says, gotta have this. I am sure that you will come up with something wonderful to display them.

I love cloth folk art dolls. The porcelain dolls - eeeek, not so much - they always look possessed.
An interesting find! It sounds as if they wanted to come home with you and made sure you chose them.
How exciting; it makes me wonder where they are from. Are they marked in any way?
These dolls are absolute treasures! I would have done the same, bought them without examining everything. If you still don't know what to do with them, I'll provide my mailing address -- problem solved! LOL
OH WOWOWOWSER, what a great find!
I love all of them that I can see.
Just set them up somewhere where they can get used to the place and listen. Art ears! I think that's something like deer ears but art related. lololsnort :)Bea
line them up and have a tea party.....
You are definitely a scavenger just like me! I have been known to do exactly the same thing. Buy the whole bag because if you don't, you know you will come up with a fabulous idea for them and be sorry! Some wonderful idea will emerge for them, in time.
What a fabulous find and an instant collection!!!! Cloth folk art dolls are wonderful!!
I've never seen anything like these. They need to be preserved well.
What a great find! Just enjoy them, they look very special.
