conventions

You may notice a pin in the top left corner of this block. There were a couple of conventions I adopted for myself early in my quiltmaking and this is one of them. This is code to myself for the orientation of the block.
The other day I was fascinated by the shadows of the lattice fence and gate when I went outside to make sure my Erosion Bundle was still there. (It is.)

Just look at that sweet doggie face. Great idea your pin. Do you ever change your mind and switch after you have decided. xox corrine

Oh yes. Sometimes I do. She is a sweet dog.

I just had to grin, at both the patch and the pooch! I think we both have the same 'code' book!

I like the idea of an orientation pin. Love the photo of the gate patterns and your dog is adorable.

I love being reminded of something I know !! Sometimes you forget things like that trick! AND! what a sweet, loving, happy face your furry family member has!

That pup is working you for a treat!!! Love your quilt piece and the pin idea. The quote is one of my favorites and am thinking of using it on a Victorian journal cover. I love how you noticed the gate patterns, just goes to show you are an artist. And yes you could make your own journal. :-)
