dance

"If you danced from midnight
to six A.M. who would understand?"

from the poem "The Twelve Dancing Princesses" by Anne Sexton

This week's word for Every Inchie Monday is dance.

I don't imagine this is what their dancing slippers might have looked like but this does like something a princess might wear.

This inchie is comprised of muslin, lace and tulle, none of which are visible since I decided to add beads.

Full of beads, still a wonder you can work that small. Love the little pink shoe. xox Corrine

I'm just getting caught up on blogs - and what a nice way to start the week - dancing (on an inchie of all things). Beautiful interpretation.

Sparkling and playful...I love the beads but they are almost always evident in my fiber works. Fancy dancy pink shoes! Imagine and Live in Peace, Mary Helen Fernandez Stewart

It's very sweet indeed and I still am amazed by the scale you manage to work with. It makes me want to dance too although my dancing shoes are anything but pink and high heels.

Ah yes, definitely the shoe of a Princess dancing at a ball, wearing beautiful jewels.
