Coiled wire, a curved glass piece and some beads. A beaded yo-yo. I don't know what the curved glass piece is for, probably a glass marble for flower arranging. I found a bag of them in the dollar store. About postcard-sized and not yet titled.

One of my favorite ways to store beads and embellishments is in spice racks. I particularly like the one I have with spirals.

leftovers or spare parts?

Apparently I went through a phase where I produced a number of these curvy pieces. There are a few other shapes as well including circles, spirals and hands. Many have already been incorporated into finished quilts and wips. Recently I came across this nice little stash of leftovers or spare parts for new projects.

I've always liked spirals. When I was in junior high I used to doodle them in my school notebooks. Now I use them in quilts. And yes, this is an irregularly shaped small quilt, not square but wavy.
