a future project

Knowing how much I enjoy this particular mountain, my husband surprised me with a Christmas present of this piece of art by Margaret DuBois. This is an enamel. One of my planned projects is to do my version in fiber.

This is a photo I took from the car last fall as we were in sight of Tinker Mountain.

That is so pretty. I love enamel. I have always wanted to take a class to learn how to do it. I've taken books out of the library to teach myself, but ... I need to see someone do it in person. Anyhoo, that is a beautiful piece of artwork.

How very thoughtful and sweet. Can't wait to see your special interpretation of the scene.

Happy (almost) Chinese New Year.
