pathways and spirals

A continuation . . .
        of squares and pathways . . .
this is not the final setting and since this photo I've completed a couple more blocks. I like the spirals that are appearing.
In bloom are . . .
roses
peonies
honeysuckle and serviceberry
iris
and more
our seeds are sprouting nicely . . .
                        snapdragons
  zinnias

Spirals are so fascinating. If you look closely, you see how movements in nature tend to form spirals! I can see them in clouds, in waves, in growth and unfolding plants. Maybe that's why they are so pleasant to look at. And so is this quilt!

Very nice. I like those spirals popping through.

I like the idea of pathways-- interprets as connections- which is very 'quilt-like'

The spirals add so much to the quilt.

Pathways, a great theme. And lovely to see the spiral returning in the rose of the same colour as your work!
