revisiting circles

"And the seasons they go round and round
And the painted ponies go up and down
We're captive on a carousel of time
We can't return we can only look behind
From where we came
And go round and round and round
In the circle game."
(Song "The Circle Game" by Joni Mitchell)
This wip was started a few months ago and I finished adding a few more embellishments and quilting it during a long car ride to and from Northampton over the weekend.

Lovely, Deborah, once again. The overall quilting is the finishing touch for me on all of your work.

This sky blue makes my day! So bright and joyful. And I love the variations in the center withing an overall harmony.

Very pretty - and I loved the song lyrics, especially about not being able to go back and only looking behind.

It's wondeful; congratulations on finishing an old project! I love the colours and textures and heavy stitching!!
I for one would like to get off the carousel once in a while; just a little break on solid ground...

Sweet! I wish I could sew while driving!

I mean, while riding in a car - not driving. LOL! Reminds me of that joke: An officer notices a woman knitting behind the wheel. He yells, "Pull over!" and she yells back, "No. Socks."
