It actually has progressed a bit more since this photo but I realized I forgot to mention that my husband looked over as I was working on it and started describing how he saw it.
Low Tide.
Waves and bits and pieces washed upon the shore.
It also has a very different (for me) finishing technique. I liked and wanted to keep the raw and unraveling edges of the top intact, yet also was interested in a somewhat more polished finish. So instead of folding the back to the front and sewing it over the top to form a border, I'm sewing it underneath the edges of the top.

Low tide, yes, it fits, looking at all the wonderful things the sea throws onto the beach, treasures all. Don't know the pumpkin name, but it looks like one of those buttercup type squash we get around here. xox Corrine

yes, the sea with all the things it washes ashore. Lovely colours, a peaceful sea.
Like your low tide piece quite a lot. I bet it's even prettier in person. I've done several beach themed Journal Quilts but when I photograph them (mostly in beiges) they just don't translate well on the computer. There must be a trick to photographing them that I just don't know.
Your squash is colored so beautifully and the shape is great. They have so many varieties with interesting patterns. Happy Autumn to you Debbie.
