I added a few beads from a strand of African beads purchased at a show a few years ago and created this necklace. The focal is a Tim Holtz sprocket gear with attachments including beads from the selection, African beads, an Industrial Chic element, and a donut-shaped component from a deconstructed earring.
I had so much fun I created a second necklace:
This one also includes the materials selected by Lorelei as well as an Industrial Chic focal, an African bead, and soapstone beads.

Love the two necklaces you created. That chunky style is really in now too.
Love the style of both of these! Great use of the white chain too !!!
WOW! I love it! I love that created 2 necklaces, I had thought about doing that too, I had so many beads left over! Just didn't get the time to put the second together.
I love the Industrial chic line and your pieces showcase them fantastically!
Thanks so much for participating!
These lovely pieces seem to go together in your hands like nobody's business. Another beautiful creation that was indeed a challenge!
Love them both!

Both necklaces are really fun. I'm liking the little gear in the first one; it sticks out like a sore thumb among all those other, very natural-looking things, and it's a great design element because it enhances their naturalness and kind of hints at things like old clock tower ruins or something. It definitely looks like it has a story, and I love pieces with stories. :) The second one is simply charming!
Love them both. Thanks for sharing! :)
COOL BEANS!!
Both of your pieces are stunning!
I know I definitely had a ton of beads left over too and contemplated making another necklace, but I knew that could become a downward spiral of doubting the original piece I made, so I held back. I'm glad you didn't!
Both turned out beautifully! I love how distinct each is as well, you were able to take those beads and mix them up in totally different ways :)
love both of these..great idea to make 2 pieces..
both beautiful
I think your necklace is fab. I love the way you used all the difficult beads so gracefully.
And I especially like the way you clustered lovely beads on the Tim Holz focal. And the way you could use the white chain which I just couldn't.
Love these, you are becoming quite the jewel goddess...xox Corrine
Love them both. This has been a fun challenge, right?
Two beautiful necklaces! The focals in both are wonderful. Wasn't this fun?

Wasn't this fun? I love a good challenge. You actually had the time and the materials to make two necklaces. Both wonderful. Thank you for sharing! Enjoy the day! Erin
Both are really beautiful! Love the focal!
Wow, both necklaces are great! The steampunk necklace is my favorite! I love it!
I really like both of them.
Loving the steampunk Industrial Chic vibe!
Great pieces! Bravo to you for making two necklaces.
I like how in the first necklace, the symmetry of the piece really keeps the focus on the abundant focal you've created. There's a lot of interesting textures and elements you've pulled together.
In the second piece, I really love the asymmetrical aspects and how rich it looks.
You've created two very modern looks! Nicely done!
I love both of your necklaces, but esp. the second. I guess I like the sleeker lines. Great work!
I love the pendants!!!!
What beautiful necklaces! I love the contrast of the Industrial Chic components with the softer feel of the beads. Great job on both!
