journal mining

While I'm a few steps closer to what I'm intending to do with this,

mostly I've been busy taking care of Mollie who has been sick.

Dalla tries to help.

In the meantime I've been going through years and years of old journals, notebooks, really. Some are bound but most are collections of half-sheets of paper punched with a single hole-punch and held together with a ring. At various times some of them have been in 3-ring binders and organized according to subject matter.
Some are notes taken at meetings from when I was a librarian.
Some are to do lists and range from as far back as when my children were small.
Many of them are small collections of quotes and these are what I've been mining.

Hope it is not a serious thing for Mollie. It is amazing what you find when you go back through those journals and ideas, it starts off on a new track some times. xox Corrine

It is something to mine those old piles, isn't it? Hope your poochie feels better, he's beautiful.

It must be really fun to look back on those. I tend to recycle everything (including Kellie's paperbound math book apparently since it's been missing for the past two days and we've looked everywhere!)

Ahhh, hope Mollie feels better soon. I am in the process of going though old papaers right now too. It is a job and very time consuming isn't it. Love your heart.

Oh, Molly is so beautiful!! I send a prayer for her to be well! It is nice to have something, like your mining, to keep you busy when tending a loved one.

I am so sorry Mollie is poorly, Ihope she recovers soon. I love your heart work above. You must be having a nostalgic time going through all those journals and bit of paper. xxx

Nostalgia can bring us comfort when we most need it, and taking care of Mollie must be the catalyst. I hope she does well, you are doing the best anyone could, I'm sure. Your little piece is lovely, as always, so delicate and sweet. The little holes make it a contender for hanging.
