the presence of snow

It has been snowing all day and as long as we can stay in and not have to go out, it is a beautiful and peaceful sight.

This is a "present" I found for myself at Goodwill, complete with bow.

I just finished this scarf and am planning to give it as a gift.

That's a very pretty scarf. I'm loving the snow too, but that's because I don't have to leave my house.

Your scarf looks soft and is a wonderful gift for that magical snowfall.

What a great Goodwill find. My best Goodwill find was while I was visiting Portland, Oregon for a job. Had a few hours of downtime and there was a brand new Goodwill---I found two vintage transfer ware plates that I just love.

I have been lucky finding treasures at Goodwill and other local thrift stores. It's also fun to look in other cities but usually I'm not so successful. I'm enjoying the snow while I'm getting my house ready for guests but will have to go out eventually.
