studio and snow

While my husband and our dog Mollie are outside shoveling snow, I'm still inside preparing for guests, which includes getting my studio ready to be one of the guest rooms. Finally I was motivated to decoupage another old spice rack (as you can see in the before and after pictures) for bead storage.

Having company certainly gets us moving doesn't it? lol Have a wonderful time with your guests. And, don't let that husband work too hard out there. Snow can get very heavy. :)Bea

So right, Bea, and I try to get him to be careful. He was joking about how unusual it is for him to be here when it snows, usually he's out of town and I'm the one shoveling.

Love the bead storage idea; so much more efficient than the plastic boxes!
Enjoy your company; they'll be gone soon enough -giggle...-

what a clever idea to use a spice rack for beads and so on...
am so glad I am not shoveling snow -- last year we got about 15 inches right before xmas and it stuck around for a very long icy time-- but this year is just rainy so far--snow is pretty but I don't envy you and your shovel right now

Your system for bead storage is so pretty and so much better than my plastic containers in a drawer!

Very clever usage of the spice rack and it turns, too. The snow looks beautiful.

Merry Christmas!
