quilt flower thinking

This atc has an overlay of netting and is embellished with noro yarn and a small charm. The flower is appliqued.

It is still snowing here but I'm thinking about flowers.

Wouldn't you love to organize an ATC swap? Participates sign up for a year of swapping. With a large response the swap could be to different people each month. You could put them into 12 groups (1-12). The first month each group would mail to the next numbered group (1 sends to 2) The month after that the groups would send to the numbered group 2 down (1 sends to 3) etc. We would end the year with lots and lots of ATC from lots and lots of people. I'd be happy to participate!

I keep checking the south wall of the barn where the snow has melted, hoping to see SOMETHING popping up. Zip, nada, sigh :)Bea

At least it's not snowing here!

OK, I'm sure I missed it somewhere, but I give up. Is ATC for Artist Trading Card, even though this is sewn and probably not rigid? This is beautiful! Is it 3x5"? Can I play? ;)

You are really pulling out the spring colors this week - I love them. No snow here - just some flurries.

Love your ATC's. We don't have snow here, but 3 hours north in the ill country they had snow yesterday. I was out planting seeds in my garden today. the weather is in the 60's and time for cold weather crops to be planted, like cabbage etc.

How large is this ATC quilt? It's lovely!

This little quilt is an artist trading card, 2.5 by 3.5 inches. Next month I will be teaching a workshop on how to make them at a retreat called Art Heals for breast cancer patients. What is interesting is that while I have had breast cancer, this group is not connected with any of the groups I was involved with as a patient and isn't even in this area.

This series of ATCs is so transitional...winter to spring to summer! I'm so tired of our weather I'm about ready to hunt that groundhog down and choke him!

The tulle makes it even more delicate and fragile; lovely! I would love to be a part of your Art Heals workshop!

I never thought I would be the kind of person that goes on and on about the weather, but we too had more snow and enough already! I think I have to make some flowers soon to stay sane.
