stitching in red

I've practiced stitching in red on a couple of hearts.

Experimented with more paper-stitching, and have started making them full, dimensional, slightly stuffed hearts using vintage bits of fabric and buttons.

A rustic heart in a window filled with sawdust in a room that has been under construction for over a year.

It will be so worth the wait. I need to do some hand stitching.

That last one hit me right in the heart. It's almost see through and yet solid.
I finished "Fragile Heart" and "Heart as white as snow" yesterday, and today I'm working on "Mending a broken Heart". Strange.

I love making hearts-paper, fabric, whatever. I love them. That is a great quote. I'll have to add that one to my book of qotes.

I love the woven text and stitching text-- I myself would rather 'glue' it on so I always admire those that take the time to stitch and sew and quilt
