jars of embellishments

A favorite part of my studio. Jars of buttons, yo-yos, ribbons, found objects. I particularly like the green glass jars that my brother-in-law found when going through my mother-in-law's estate and I was lucky to receive.

OMG, what a devine stash! I need to clean up my studio but I'm afraid to because if I do, I may not be able to find my stuff!

These are displayed beautifully! My #2 son would have them emptied promptly. My 'studio' is my living room, and I have things hidden well in cute baskets... but the jars, those are in his domain.

This is like quilter's candy! Clever storage solution kept tidy, but in plain view for inspiration. Perfect! ; )

I love to see jars of stuff-- like a candy store...

everything always looks so much more exciting when stored in jars (especially buttons). That's a great stash of goodies.

Thanks! If I don't see what I have, I tend to forget that I have it!

Ha, ha - I have that same shelf of jars - except my shelf looks more unkempt! I used to have a big collection of old metal knitting needles, too, from my mother (now deceased). I gave them away one day and now I regret it so. This is why I have too much clutter: inability to let go. Sigh.

Ah yes, what to keep and what to let go. It's often hard to decide. I guess many of us have at one time or another had regrets.
