a small group

You've seen a couple of these before and two of them are still under construction but sometimes I like to look at them grouped together.

Deborah said...: It's how my grandmother, great-aunts and great-grandmother did it. They all lived in Virginia and their heritage was native American. I have a vague memory of reading about it being an Amish technique but even though I live relatively close to Lancaster County, PA, I don't know if that is true or not.; November 19, 2009 at 10:57 AM

My daughter lived in Ephrata for the year her husband was stationed in Iraq and I visited her there. We saw several covered bridges and tasted some yummy apple butter and homemade cheeses. Deborah said...: I live closer to Philadelphia and also spend time on a lake in the Poconos but am close enough that sometimes I am able to buy the apple butter and wonderful cheeses from farmers' markets and roadside stands. I thnk I would love it if I lived there.; November 23, 2009 at 4:46 PM
