too interesting to resist

While not really looking for more yarn, I came across this package that looked too interesting to resist. It was among a cart full of a variety of yarns, mostly angora and silk, at Goodwill. I could use it for knitting or crocheting but will most likely use it to embellish quilts. I may try separating the fibers.

silk and angora? You might just want to sit with it in your lap and pet it! :)

Separating the fiber? Oh, yes, remove the grey stuff.
(Sorry, not a lover of greys)

Ah, I did buy more than shown in the photograph. The silk and angora yarns are wonderful but the one shown is also comprised of wool, so alas, turned out not to be soft. It also wasn't possible to separate it by strand but I did cut out the colors I wanted to use for embellishing.
