small vintage wip

Here are some vintage 9-patch blocks, approximately 3 inches, from a stash I inherited from a dear family friend. Several years ago I did make a small quilt using some of them which was given as a gift.

You have so many lovely WIPs; do you work on them all? I should problably have more of them, maybe I won't get bored if I do a little of this and a little of that.

How nice to make quilts from inherited blocks; wonderful keepsakes.

Bellydancing sounds so much fun; I have a friend who took a class and really enjoyed it. It's probably great work out and loosens up all those quilting muscels too.

I do have many wips, for different reasons. Many were started while riding in a car and/or in hospital or doctor's waiting rooms so after I started them I didn't get a chance to press them before going on to the next step. Sometimes though I just wanted to wait and think about what I might like to do next. Also, as I mentioned in this post, I inherited boxes of fabric and wips from a special familiy friend, Mrs. H. In addition, my mother has been going to yard sales forever and when I first started quilting, she brought me whatever she found, so I 'inherited' wips from other people.
We'll see how the belly dancing goes.

Those inherited blocks are lovely, its a treasure to se "real" vintage fabrics. Love the design and colors, and the "scrappy " way they are put together. Love to see you use them...
