crazy wip

A tiny crazy quilt with partial border. Apparently I stoppped working on it in the middle of attaching the border. At least all the pieces are together. To take the photograph I used a couple of pieces of driftwood as paperweights to try to get it to lie flat. So my collection of rocks and sticks serve a purpose after all.

I always love crazy quilts when I see them, but then when I try to make one I remember how much I hate making crazy quilts.

Looking at the pin on the quilt, I can't belive how small your pieces are, and that you left it with one piece of border half done:-) Looking through WIPs is like a treasure chest, you never know what you'll find (and apperantly what state it is in). I have started working on so many old projects lately and really enjoy finishng them. We are having an UFO day at our guild in January, so I'll have lots of experience to share...
