There were 11 participants in last weekend's "art heals" retreat/workshop held in a beautiful and serene location.
When setting up the tables and supplies, I discovered in the kitchen several muffin tins that turned out to be perfect for distributing some of the buttons, beads and other embellishments.

What FUN! :)Bea
awesome. It reminds me of the beaded prayer project http://www.beadedprayersproject.com
I made one when my friends husband died suddenly a few years ago. You can see it here if you want...

These are all great. I am glad it was such a successful time as I know you have been working really hard to be ready.
Such beautiful results! Love the one with the big blossom. And the room!
Sounds like a great time had.....and wonderful work done.
I love how you set up the table, everything looks so well prepared and good enough to eat with all the colours and textures! The muffin tins were a great idea.
The sun is adorable; looks like you had quite a few artists in your class.
Everyone's turned out so happy and colorful!
Thanks! I think they turned out well. I thought I had photographed others but they did not show up when I downloaded the photos from my camera. It was a wonderful room in an old farmhouse.
Beautiful work, art really does help the healing process.
How lovely, Deborah. ; ) I do believe art heals and soothes. It gives our mind a place to rest while our hands are busy.
I use muffin tins and vintage metal pie plates to corral all sorts of sewing items in my studio. They're often times 'just right!'
